Every once in a while a customer sends me an email that sums up exactly why we build this equipment.
Jack Peele from Alchemy Pure recently sent me this:
“The rosin from our very first wash ever on the Hashtek 30 gallon just placed 3rd in the state at the Solventless Cup.”
Not their tenth run on the machine. Not after months of dialling it in. Their first wash on the Legendary Mini Bundle with the 30 Gallon BubbleTek produced the Rambutan rosin that placed third at the 2026 Solventless Cup in Buffalo, New York.
That does not mean equipment makes award-winning hash by itself. Alchemy Pure brought the genetics, cultivation, cold chain and good operator decisions. The machine simply did what good equipment should do: let the team control the wash without making the process harder than it needs to be.

A two-acre, single-source Hudson Valley operation
Alchemy Pure grows its own plants on a two-acre farm in New York’s Hudson Valley. Most of the crop is sun-grown outdoors in soil, with select cultivars kept under cover in hoop houses and only minimal supplemental lighting.
Alchemy Pure CEO Chris Regan runs the farm and keeps the entire operation moving. Jack Peele leads solventless craft and post-harvest processing, and the team handles all of its processing nearby in the Hudson Valley.
For the last few years Alchemy Pure has been known in the New York market for flower and pre-rolls, but the plan was always to build a solventless program around its own crop. That program launched earlier this year.
Getting a podium finish this early is a big deal. It is also a good example of why a single-source farm can make exceptional hash: the people washing the material are close enough to the crop to recognize when something special shows up.
The Rambutan that would not stay in the test bucket
The winning cultivar was Rambutan (Papaya × Guava’z #74). The clones came through a trusted collaboration, and Alchemy Pure grew them at its Hudson Valley farm.
Jack first washed the Rambutan last summer. Like a lot of people doing early cultivar tests, he used several 5-gallon buckets. The crude test returned more than 8% across all microns.
That was enough information to stop testing and save the remaining frozen material for a proper run.
When Alchemy Pure finished setting up its 30-gallon Hashtek system, Rambutan was the first cultivar into the machine. The full-scale wash again returned more than 8% total yield. About 4.5% landed in the 73–159 micron range, which the team collected and pressed to make the rosin entered in the Cup.


The Rambutan took third. Alchemy Pure also put two more products into the top ten of the Cup’s vape results: Bolinas placed seventh and Coup Runtz Bomb placed tenth. Three strong finishes across different cultivars is a much better signal than a single lucky batch.

Easy to run does not mean less control
Alchemy Pure did not need a complicated automated factory to reach the podium. The 30 Gallon BubbleTek uses simple dual controls for agitation speed and intensity. A stainless mesh basket contains the biomass, a conical centre drain moves the wash water out cleanly, and standard tri-clamp connections make the recirculation system easy to configure.
The complete Legendary Mini Bundle adds the collection vessel, bag adapter, sanitary hoses and Hashtek Vortex Pump. Instead of piecing together an improvised system and troubleshooting every fitting, the operator can focus on soak time, agitation and collection.
Jack now runs roughly 7.5 kg of fresh frozen per wash and 35–42 kg per week through the 30-gallon system. In his verified review, he called the machine “a workhorse” and said it delivers clean hash with “very little effort.” He also pointed out something that is easy to overlook when planning a lab: the system fits in a small wash room and uses minimal water.
That is what user-friendly equipment looks like in production. It is not a magic button. It is a machine that is easy to understand, easy to adjust, easy to clean and predictable enough to run week after week.
The small parts that make a complete workflow
Alchemy Pure built out the original system over time instead of replacing everything at once. Its working 30-gallon setup now includes:
- The Legendary Mini Bundle with 30 Gallon BubbleTek, including the collection vessel and recirculation hardware.
- A Hashtek Vortex Pump and two Hashtek Rinse Pump Kits for recirculation, supply and rinse water.
- Stock sanitary silicone hose plus custom-length sanitary hose to fit the room instead of forcing the room to fit the equipment.
- A Hashtek Pump Stand and BubbleTek Mounting Feet to keep the wet side organized and secure.
- A 30 Gallon BubbleTek Pre-Soak Screen to keep material submerged and properly hydrated before agitation.
- A 1.5-inch Tri-Clamp Adapter for Brute bins and Hashtek Collection Spoons for the collection side of the workflow.
These are not the glamorous parts of a hash lab, but they are the parts that determine whether a wash day feels smooth or improvised.
From one 30-gallon workhorse to two 65-gallon systems
Alchemy Pure is now building a larger lab for its 2026 crop. The target is 120–160 kg of fresh frozen per week using two 65-gallon A-Series systems.
To make that jump, a custom Hashtek Epic Bundle will anchor one side of the new room, pairing continuous recirculation with cold water on demand. They are also adding a Hashtek Sieving Station, giving the collection team a purpose-built place to rinse and sieve while working upright instead of crouching over a bin.
Alongside it, a Hashtek 65A Legendary Bundle gives the team a second complete 65-gallon wash and collection setup, while an additional no-tank 1.5 HP Craft Chill Kit expands the cold-water capacity needed to keep both systems moving.
The best part is that scaling up does not mean starting over. Because Hashtek equipment uses standard sanitary connections and modular pumps, Alchemy Pure can work its existing Vortex Pump, rinse pumps and sanitary hoses into the expanded layout. The 30-gallon system can stay in service for cultivar tests and smaller lots while the two 65A systems handle production, and the team can carry the same familiar controls and wash logic straight into the new room.

Start simple. Keep the quality. Scale when the crop is ready.
Alchemy Pure’s story started with a strain that showed promise in a few 5-gallon buckets. The team moved that material into a professional 30-gallon system, got more than 8% total yield again, pressed the best fraction and landed on the podium on its first Hashtek wash.
Six months later, that same compact machine is processing roughly 35–42 kg per week and the farm is stepping up to two 65-gallon lines.
This is the kind of scaling we like to see: prove the genetics, learn the process on equipment your team can actually use, and expand with components that continue to work together.
