Drop-in pre-soak screen design (non clamp-down) optimized for BubbleTek mesh basket sizes

Keeps biomass submerged during pre-soak to promote even hydration before agitation

Not a clamp-down design like the A-Series or T-Series versions

If additional downward pressure is needed, a clean, heavy item such as freeze dryer trays can be placed on top of the screen during pre-soak

Prevents material from floating or piling at the surface prior to agitation

Pre-soaking is critical to prevent biomass sharding and fragmentation, which can occur if dry or partially hydrated material is agitated prematurely

Reduces fines and plant matter contamination caused by brittle biomass breaking apart

Improves wash consistency and downstream separation quality

Clears BubbleTek paddles, drains, and recirculation paths without restricting flow

Eliminates the need for improvised ice weighting during hydration

Recommended pre-soak times:

• Fresh Frozen: 1–5 minutes

• Dried / Cured Material: 20–60 minutes
