Terms and Conditions of Sale & Warranty Statement

1. General Terms of Sale
By placing an order with Hashtek, you agree to the terms and conditions set forth in this document. All sales are final, and Hashtek does not offer returns or refunds. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure they have selected the correct product for their intended use prior to placing the order. Prices are valid for two weeks from the date of quotation, and Hashtek reserves the right to adjust pricing thereafter.

2. Warranty Coverage
Hashtek equipment is sold with the following warranty terms:

• One-Year Limited Warranty: Hashtek provides a one-year warranty from the date of delivery on pumps, motors, and electronics. This warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not extend to damage resulting from improper use, failure to follow instructions, or general wear and tear.

• Limited Lifetime Warranty for Welding and Craftsmanship: Hashtek equipment is also covered by a limited lifetime warranty for welding and craftsmanship. This warranty ensures that our products are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. The limited lifetime warranty applies exclusively to units manufactured in North America.

• Exclusion of BubbleTek Units: The BubbleTek product line is manufactured offshore to keep costs low, and as such, is not covered under the limited lifetime warranty. BubbleTek units are provided with a one-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects or motor failure. Any additional repair or replacement of parts after the one-year period will be the responsibility of the purchaser.

3. Exclusions and Limitations
This warranty does not cover:

• Damage or malfunctions resulting from improper use, abuse, neglect, unauthorized modifications, or failure to comply with the product’s operating instructions.
• Equipment damage caused by freezing of heat exchangers or water lines, improper cleaning, or use of non-recommended cleaning agents.
• Incidental, consequential, or indirect damages, including but not limited to, loss of production, business interruption, or damage to property or persons.

All warranties are void if the equipment has been modified in any way without the express, written consent of Hashtek.

4. Liability Disclaimer
Hashtek shall not be liable for any damages, injuries, or losses arising out of the use or inability to use the equipment. The purchaser agrees to operate the equipment in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, and to follow the provided operating and safety instructions. Failure to do so may result in injury or equipment damage, for which Hashtek assumes no liability.

Under no circumstances shall Hashtek’s liability exceed the purchase price of the equipment. By purchasing Hashtek products, the purchaser agrees that any legal action related to the equipment shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Hashtek operates, and that any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration.

5. Warranty Claims
To file a warranty claim, the purchaser must provide proof of purchase and a detailed description of the defect. Warranty claims should be submitted via email to sales[at]hashtek.ca within the warranty period. Upon receiving the claim, Hashtek will assess the situation and may, at its discretion, either repair or replace the defective component.

Hashtek reserves the right to charge for repairs or replacement of components outside the warranty period or in cases where the damage is not covered by this warranty. Shipping costs for warranty claims are the responsibility of the purchaser.
