The Hashtek Bag Adapter is a practical solution for users who prefer using 220u work bags during ice water extraction. While work bags aren’t required for Hashtek systems, some customers find them helpful for quicker cleanup, especially with non-tilting A-Series units. If you choose to use a work bag, the Bag Adapter is essential for keeping the bag pressed against the sides of the tank, preventing it from getting caught in the paddle during agitation. It can also help hold the false bottom down during vigorous agitation to keep it from floating up. We now include the bag spreader with all tank/paddle combinations .

Hashtek Bag Adapter (20 Gallon)
The Hashtek bag adapter was born to solve the problem of the 44 gallon ‘parachute bag’. Makers told us they wanted to use smaller collection bags (which are easier to clean and handle) without sacrificing water capacity in the collection vessel. The Hashtek bag adapter allows you to use 20 gallon collection bags in larger 44 or 50 gallon collection vessels. The tripod ring design allows you to pull the bags down tight, ensuring the will never slip.
Hashtek False Bottom
The Hashtek False Bottom is included with all Hashtek tanks and made from sanitary 304 stainless steel, TIG welded in Canada. It features a sanitary white nitrile FDA food-compliant gasket, which can be replaced using our gasket replacement kit. Customers report that our 65A False Bottom also fits Pure Pressure 65 Gallon vessels with a 30″ ID.
