Features & specifications

The pump and hose arrangement from our Platinum Recirculation Bundle , adapted for a locally sourced 44-gallon Brute bin.

  • Choose your configuration: With 46C bag adapter : adds the stainless steel bag-support ring with bent legs that rests over the bin rim.
  • Choose your configuration: Without bag adapter: includes all recirculation hardware listed above, without the ring.
  • 1 × Vortex pump (110/120V) with pump stand : 1.5-inch tri-clamp inlet and outlet.
  • 1 × inlet hose — 5 ft long × 1.5-inch internal diameter: connects the collection bin to the pump (low-pressure side).
  • 1 × return hose — 5 ft long × 1-inch internal diameter: connects the pump to your agitator (high-pressure side).
  • Both hoses: platinum-cured, braided silicone with permanently crimped 1.5-inch tri-clamp ends. Hose sizes refer to internal diameter, not wall thickness.

  • 3 × 1.5-inch butterfly valves + 1 tri-clamp tee: one valve at the bin outlet and two at the tee for switching between recirculation and draining.
  • 1 × plastic bulkhead + 1 stainless adapter : 1-inch female NPT bulkhead paired with a 1-inch male NPT to 1.5-inch tri-clamp adapter.
  • 1 × garden hose adapter : connects your drain hose to the tri-clamp plumbing.
  • Connection hardware: tri-clamps with gaskets and a 10-mesh gasket .
  • Source separately: 44-gallon Brute bin, agitator, collection bags and a garden hose sized for your drain.
  • Also excluded: stainless collection vessel, false bottom and long elbow.
  • Recommended bin: new white 44-gallon Rubbermaid BRUTE, sourced locally and dedicated to processing.
  • Food-contact certification: verify the exact model in Rubbermaid’s NSF/ANSI 2 listing . Colour alone is not certification; the listing covers the original bin, not the assembled kit.
  • Setup: straight side outlet; raised hose end connects to your agitator. Bin pictured for reference only.
