At small scale this can be done using a hot wine bottle as per frenchy tek.

At scale this can be done using a meat grinder which crushes some of the trichome heads releasing oils and activating the resin. The pellets that come from the meatgrinder can then be loaded into a pre press and pressed into bricks.

We hear many different approaches including the classic clear, cloudy & amber trichomes, microscope identification of heads being at their largest size, physical attributes of the plant including yellowing of fan leaves among others.

Would love to get some community input on what YOU look for when determining if your fresh frozen is ready to harvest.

Just wondering if there's any Vancouver/BC seminars coming up late '24/early '25 I missed the last one that was adjacent to a Heady Happenings sesh, buddy never got back to me about details to tag in. Super stoked to see which OGs pop up on here, always inspiring to see Hashtek nurture community growth in multiple formats.
